Best Christmas movie!

I love this movie anyway and this copy is in excellent condition. It came in a timely fashion. I was afraid they would completely stop showing this on TV because of the blackface scene. That is part of our history and we should be aware of all that came before our time. It is a great piece of entertainment and I loved Fred Astaire in this movie.

Black & white, but colorful!

My husband & I had viewed this film before, but had forgotten much of the storyline so it was fun to see it again.
If you enjoy the days when filmmakers concentrated on the characters---their faces, their movements, their relationships and not just frenetic ACTION---then this is a film you could truly enjoy. And the music/singing is a bonus!

The picture was fine but sound was terrible. It just went up and down constantly.
