Karen Green's life is as normal as any other mid-30's single woman's. Not the greatest of self images, yet not the worst either. Karen tries to see the humorous side of life more than the serious side. She considers herself lucky to have supportive family and friends nearby. She values her accounting career, even though others thought it was a lackluster job. Her problem with dealing with complicated higher-ups seemed to crop up more lately. She's had a few relationships that didn't amount to much, though a brief encounter in Atlanta made her feel at this point in her life that all men were the same. The same until an unfortunate tragedy sent Karen to a country she never thought in her wildest dreams she'd be. India was obviously another world to Karen, the people were upfront, blunt, and yet sometimes charming. Thanks to Linda her guide, and new friend, Karen settled into a place where she felt she was needed. A shot in the arm. Then Karen meets Ravi, a younger bullheaded man.
