King of road movies

With Monte Hellman at the helm you feel like your in the cars ,with the driver ,the mechanic ,the girl and GTO. Two Lane Blacktop is a great slice of Americana, the car culture, the relationship of man and machine and just a more simple way of life that is now long gone is portrayed better in Two Lane blacktop than any of the other road movies. They don`t make them like that anymore.
