Steven Spielberg helms his long-in-the-making biopic of Abraham Lincoln for DreamWorks and Touchstone Pictures. The movie is about how Lincoln got Congress to approve the 13th amendment- putting an end to slavery. Lincoln not only had to win over his adversaries, but he needed a military victory in the Civil War. Otherwise, the 13th amendment would appear as a sign of weakness and desperation. Good acting! Daniel Day Lewis would get my nod for an Oscar
