Show Synopsis

KNOWING GOD is one of the most significant and popular Christian books of our time and has deepened the faith and understanding of millions of people around the world. 'Dr Packer says we're cruel to ourselves if we try to live in his world without knowing about the God whose world it is and who runs it. I'm convinced we're cruel if we deny ourselves the wisdom contained in this Christian classic.' Rico Tice

Second best book ever written!

I remember when our pastor made the statement, "This is, in my opinion" the best book ever written, second only to the Holy Bible!" I have to agree! There is so much depth to each page that at times I have to set the book aside and just reflect or meditate on what I've just read about God's character!

This is not light-weight or a fluffy 'feel-good' sort of read but a deep look into the very heart and character of our great God, by analyzing the attributes He demonstrates and reveals about Himself historically in His word and in His unchanging character He continues to demonstrate in our lives today!

A must read for anyone serious about knowing their God on a deeper level! "You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13

A classic

This book should be required reading by every believer in Jesus Christ. It should be taught in churches. I thought I knew God but after reading this book, I realized how little I knew God.

Wording

I found myself having to go to the dictionary too much to understand his meaning. It could have been easier to read. Some authors like to show off their vocabulary - books are made to be read and helpful.
It's a good book but hard to read
