I love these kind of movies, sword fighters, but most of all its Russell Crowe that made the movie. I had a copy of this movie and loaned it out and never got it back so I had to buy it again. Good movie, story, actors.

Excellent Movie

I love ancient Rome and anything to do with the time period, and this movie is no exception. Russell Crowe does an amazing job as Maximus in this movie. One of my absolute favorite movies!!!

"Gladiator" is timeless

Typical "suppressed good guy undergoes hardship, but vanquishes bad guy in the end". Story enjoyed by women as well as men. Movie is excellent, too, with lots of excitement and pagentry. Highly recommended!
