Show Synopsis

Having struck pay dirt with his 1958 western Rio Bravo, Howard Hawks more or less remade the picture twice in the 1960s. The first of these rehashes was El Dorado, with Rio Bravo star John Wayne back for more. Wayne plays a gunfighter who rides into El Dorado to link up with his old pal, sheriff Robert Mitchum ("It's the big one with the big two!" declared the film's advertisements). Hot Doggity!

John Wayne is a favorite and mixed with Robert Mitchum, El Dorado is a BIG WINNER! Had a bit of trouble with the seller, but it was all resolved and I am as happy as a Clam! Would I do it again - in a heart beat!

Excellent movie

My husband is a super fan of John Wayne, and it was a no brainer to buy this movie when I found it!

There are only a few John Wayne movies that I like, this is one of them. Good action not cowboys and indian stuff.
