John Hughes dishes out the sentiment by the ladle-full in Curly Sue. The film stars James Belushi as Bill Dancer, a down-on-his-luck drifter who lives by his wits on the highways and byways of the United States, stealing free meals, slipping into movie theaters, and sleeping in welfare hotels. Light Comedy, Heartfelt Movie

Wow! I remember this movie! I watched it avidly as a child and thought it was the funniest thing in the world! I am positive that if I viewed it again, it would still be just as good. If you are in for light comedy and something to warm your heart for awhile, choose this film. The girl that plays Curly Sue is a good actress. It is sad that we don't see more of her around anymore.
