A Rattle In The Tail.

Based on a 1950's movie with the same name, this film is a helluva thrill ride for the viewer. After its basics are established, it doesn't falter but goes from nail-biting suspense to a shattering car race to its exciting denouement. And just when you think it's finished, there's that rattle in the tail of the rattlesnake.
Michael Douglas is splendid as the corrupt DA. Whenever he is on the screen, he commands, and Jesse Metcalfe and Amber Tamblyn more than fill the remaining spaces. This is one of those movies that manages to keep the viewer on the edge of that proverbial seat. Shouldn't be missed, if simply for watching Michael Douglas at his best .
