Absolutely Beautiful

This is one of the better films I have EVER seen. The story-line is heart-wrenching, interest-catching, thought-provoking and not at all clique. The actors play their parts beautifully and draw their viewers into a plausible and eye-opening reality, which ultimately supports the value of life (without bias). Beside all of that, Monteverde is gorgeous - even under the beard.

bella is bella

Excellent film with complex characters. Loved it! Heartwarming story without being maudlin or saccarhine.

Wonderful Movie

This is a wonderful movie with a very positive story line. All the actors are very believable and the ending is not predictable. The movie won many Canadian film awards including Canada?s equivalent of ?Best Picture.? However, the movie was totally ignored by Hollywood when picking the Oscars. I suspect that Hollywood didn?t like the message the movie portrayed. Anyway, it is a wonderful family film with a positive message for all. I highly recommend it.

FANTASTIC MOVIE

I don't usually write reviews but I could not resist this time.
Bella is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The acting is superb and the story line is so profound, I had to watch it 3 times just to absorb it all.
It is not your typical Hollywood movie. It is a seemingly very simple story yet the emotional depth of it gets deep into your heart.
This movie is a must for everyone. We can all learn something from it.
Bella is one of those movies that you think about for days after you've seen it.
Can you tell, I LOVED IT???
