A Fun Flick

Okay. To start with, I liked this movie. Only when it is compared with The Da Vinci Code do I have negative things to say. When the Code was over, I wanted to do research to see how much of that was BS. I have no such urges at the end of A&D. However, Angels & Demons was a very effective thriller due not only to the ticking bomb in the Vatican but the hourly deaths of the holy men. In twenty years I don't think Angels will be the classic that Code will be; with scenes, lines and cinematography that you will remember years later; but it is a good, tightly written and well-acted film deserving to be in any complete film library.

Intriguing Murder Mystery

I went to the movie theatre, a little dubious. I hadn't been impressed with "The Da Vinci Code." But I was pleasantly surprised! It was a very interesting and exciting story. A murder mystery surrounded in the rich history of Vatican City and codes. The twist had me dumbfounded for a week. It's very intense, but awesome. The actors portrayed the characters very well.
