It's late 1944, and the Allied armies are confident they'll win the World War II and be home in time for Christmas. Great WWII Movie

Naturally Hollywood took some liberties, but the story is based on true action, the movie is full of big name stars, and the action is suspenseful. Well worth the price just to remind ourselves of the sacrifices and accomplishments of "The Greatest Generation."

a bridge too far

First rate movie a very good addition to any collection lots of action and historical content have told a few friends that it is a very good movie and they must watch it
